AAGAAZ – Annual Arts Day

The much-anticipated annual sports day, Olympus, was held with great enthusiasm and fervor at Nadvathul Islam English School The event aimed at fostering the spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical fitness among students.

The day began with a grand opening ceremony, graced by the presence of our Chief Guest, along with the Principal, Vice Principal, staff members, parents, and students. The Chief Guest hoisted the school flag, followed by the lighting of the Olympic torch and a spectacular march-past by the four houses —

After the oath-taking ceremony led by the sports captain, a series of thrilling track and field events commenced. Students from various classes participated in sprints, relays, long jump, shot put, and other athletic competitions. The highlight of the day was the relay race, which had the entire audience cheering with excitement.

In addition to individual eveAAGAAZ, the much-awaited Annual Arts Day of our school, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur during the month of August/September. It serves as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their creative, cultural, and artistic talents both on stage and off stage.

Theme and Purpose:

The theme of this year’s AAGAAZ was “Celebrating Creativity and Culture”, aiming to nurture aesthetic skills, promote healthy competition, and instill confidence in students. The event encouraged maximum participation across all classes, fostering a spirit of teamwork and artistic expression.

On-Stage ompetitions:

The on-stage events were held in the school auditorium and were witnessed by teachers, students, and parents. The performances were judged by a panel of experts.

· Group Dance (Theme-based, Folk, Fusion)

The performances reflected immense preparation and creativity. The energy and confidence displayed by the participants were truly commendable.

Off-Stage Competitions:

The off-stage events were conducted prior to the main celebration day and included a wide array of literary and visual arts activities.

These events were conducted in classrooms and special venues with proper monitoring. Judges evaluated the entries based on originality, relevance to the theme, and presentation.nts, the day featured fun games for parents and staff, adding a joyful and inclusive atmosphere. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where the winners were awarded medals, certificates, and trophies for their outstanding performances.

The Principal, in her address, applauded the participants for their dedication and encouraged students to balance academics and sports for holistic development. The event concluded with the national anthem and a vote of thanks by the sports coordinator.

Olympus truly lived up to its name, celebrating strength, unity, and the Olympic spirit, making it a memorable event for the entire school community.
