extra academics

The academic calendar is replete with events. The students are divided into four houses and activities are planned under the supervision of house-in-charge teachers and spearheaded by the house captains, vice captains and house leaders. For competitions conducted in the literary and cultural fields and in sports and games, entries are received on the basis of house identities; while group events are assessed on inter-house basis. The best house is awarded a rolling trophy.

A 1-day Student Led Conference , a mega event conducted during the academic  year.

The School has the following  clubs, viz. Science Club, Mathematics Club and Literary Club,Social science club , Health and Wellness Club.

The Annual Academic Day is celebrated in January to felicitate the academic and extra-academic achievements of the students.

A team of   dedicated physical training instructors coach and prepare the students for various sports and games events. A two-day Annual Athletic Meet for the secondary ,for the primary and nursery classes are held.

The School’s literary and cultural representatives have distinguished themselves in inter-school competitions.Three year olds are full of wonder and spend a lot of time watching, observing, and imitating.  Their imagination is working at all times.  They are particularly interested in perfecting their fine motor skills that they once found it challenging when they were two years old.  A three-year-old loves to pour, mix, mash and squeeze.  At this age, a child will learn to hold his or her crayon better; thus our classrooms are equipped with fat pencils and crayons to help with pretend writing and drawing.  The gross motor skill development of this age group will learn to throw and catch a large ball.  Hopping, climbing and skipping are activities that the child loves to practice and are incorporated into everyday activities.  One of the favorite words during this period is asking “why?”  Three years old want to know what causes the events around them. They will also learn to listen to the explanations of others with interest.
